Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Assignment Editor. Candidates must have outstanding organizational and communication skills to help run our assignment desk and must be able to thrive while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Assignment Editors at ABC6 are strong writers who compose copy for our newscasts and also post content to our website and social media. They are eager news gatherers. Candidates must be willing to work daytime weekend shifts.We need someone reliable and flexible. Being familiar with the area is a plus!
