ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Provides clinical Family Coaching and Visitation Center services, including TST informed clinical assessment and supports, to enrolled children and families. Working in a team with a program case manager, ensures completion of initial clinical assessment and treatment plan for children and parents along with an agreed upon weekly schedule and plan of visitation activities for each family. Ensure weekly contacts with DCYF case workers for the purpose of coordinating the visitation process, treatment and support services, and advocacy for each participating child and family. Provide in-home treatment and aftercare reintegration support for at least six (6) months post-reunification, in accordance with the family’s needs, when appropriate.



Come work in a well-supported, professional team environment in which all treatment plans for assigned families are reviewed and approved by our independently licensed and very experienced Clinical Director. Work towards your independent license with excellent clinical supervision and focus on your professional development. Assist families in reaching goals of their service plan through coaching visitation using Trauma Systems Therapy informed care and other clinically appropriate interventions. Provide developmentally appropriate feedback and coaching to parents in a positive manner, helping them build the skills and systems navigation knowledge they need to coordinate supports for themselves and their children over time. Work collaboratively with and maintain weekly contact with DCYF staff for all assigned families. Utilize an electronic medical record, adhering to Medicaid & DCYF standards, for documenting service provision and case record keeping. Write detailed client progress reports, approved by the Clinical Director and used to inform reunification planning and decision-making to ensure timely permanency planning for children. Participate in collecting important client, service, and program performance data used to monitor and continually improve client outcomes.


QUALIFICATIONS

Applicant must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday.
Master’s degree in human services related field required; MSW candidates must have LCSW, other field Master’s must be license eligible within 2 years of hire. Independent license a plus!
Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
Prior experience working with children and families involved in child welfare.
Experience providing supervised visitation a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and as an interdependent team member.
Ability to use all MS Office programs, mainframe computer systems and Internet.
Able to work evening and weekend hours.


Receive a Sign-on Bonus in the amount of $2,000.00 within 1 year of employment!
