ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides overall administration and project management for the Mental Health Awareness Training Grant. Provides clinical supervision and oversight to clinicians and clinical interns in the outpatient program. Coordinates with SAMHSA and community partners to complete all deliverables as outlined by grant. Implements Mental Health First Aid Trainings and Trauma-Informed trainings and engages community partners to participate in training and tracking referrals for mental health treatment.


SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide clinical supervision and leadership as part of FSRI’s Healing Division
Provide clinical treatment and evaluation as needed to support FSRI’s Healing Division
Deliver MHFA training in all manners as described in the MHFA policy and procedures handbook.
Market, schedule and maintain training registrations and instructor details as described in the MHFA instructor portal.
Evaluate the needs of all participants and assure accommodations needed are met at the onset of each training.
Assure all course materials, participant manuals, power points and resource lists are accessible and distributed to all participants in a timely manner.
Maintain all evaluation and credentialing information in the MHFA Learning Management System and contribute to program evaluation, including interface with Project Evaluator.
Identify and recruit child mental health providers to partner as resources for referral and support.
Convene and coordinate quarterly MHFA project team meetings to review and advise on outreach and engagement techniques, referral pathways, and community resources.
Develop, implement and maintain tracking system for first aider facilitated referrals. Generate quarterly SPARS reports to SAMHSA.
Develop and maintain social media platform to disseminate on-going first aider resources.
Coordinate development activities with project team to build web based and distributable materials for disseminating marketing, recruiting and resource guide for trainees.
Provide training and consultation to community partners, child welfare systems, and school districts on trauma informed practices
Ensures that all grant and training contract requirements are met.
Provide Clinical coverage across Healing Division and agency, as needed to support agency functioning

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in human services related field required.
LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psy.D. Must be independently licensed in the state of RI
At least two years of experience providing outreach, engagement and training to variety of populations including first responders, school educators, peer recovery coaches, and parent support groups
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
Bilingual skills highly desired.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Public Speaking skills. Must show ability to facilitate trainings with trauma-informed practice. Ability to communicate effectively

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

Must be willing to facilitate evidence-based treatment in the community, which will require travel.
