ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Work as part of a dedicated, trauma-informed, multidisciplinary team to provide crisis and on-going clinical services to children, adults, and families virtually, in an office setting, and virtually. Utilize evidence based practice modalities for the treatment of children, individuals, and families. Responsibilities include: Diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy utilizing trauma-informed evidence-based treatments, and crisis intervention and assessment services. Establish partnerships with child and victim serving systems statewide to improve access to trauma informed crisis intervention, clinical care, and ongoing coordination of services.



SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Create a welcoming, therapeutic, and safe environment for clients and families.
Provide treatment in an office setting and virtually.
Provide emergency crisis intervention services with, and on behalf of, clients and families as needed.
Collaborates on cases with case managers, victim advocates, law enforcement, and other service providers to ensure appropriate delivery of services to clients and families.
Engage as active member of the Trauma Response Team and Healing Division, attending regular staff meetings and providing back-up for team members.
Administers required outcome measures to clients.
Participate in regular supervision meetings as scheduled.
Perform initial evaluation and assessment utilizing a trauma-lens.
Implement trauma-informed evidence-based treatments.
Evaluate treatment process on an ongoing basis.
Provide emergency assessment and evaluation as needed.
Respond to critical incidents in the community as part of the Trauma Response Team.
Advocate for clients to support their treatment goals.
Provides sensitivity to clients and families cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic issues and diversity.
Develops processes to improve access to behavioral health care for specialty populations, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQI2-S, and other groups.
Participate in on-going professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Collaborate and coordinate all aspects of client care with other involved parties and payers.
Attend external meetings on behalf of client care when indicated.
Complete all professional and administrative documentation and forms in accordance with agency standards and within established guidelines and timeframes
Transport clients and families as needed.
Maintain or exceed productivity expectations.
Build and maintain positive, working relationships.
Maintain professional licensure and credentialing.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in human services related field required.
Licensed preferred. License eligibility within 2 years of date of hire required for non-MSW degree; MSWs must obtain LCSW within 2 months of hire.
Experience working with individuals impacted by traumatic stress preferred.
LCDP and/or background in substance abuse preferred.
Bilingual skills preferred.
Strong computer skills required
Ability to work in an Electronic Medical Record required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Access to reliable transportation required.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs
Ability to navigate stairs
