Position Summary:
The Healthy Families America (HFA) program is an evidence-based model for maternal-child home visiting, with a focus on strengthening parent-child relationships, supporting child health and development, and prevention of child abuse/neglect. The HFA Supervisor: provides clinical, administrative, and reflective supervision to direct service staff; monitors and ensures that service activity is in compliance with model and funder requirements; assists with day-to-day management of the program; participates in program planning and development; provides emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed; and may also provide direct services to a limited caseload of HFA participants.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology/Sociology, Nursing, or other related field with 3 years relevant experience required.
Prior supervisory experience required; experience with reflective practice preferred.
Experience in home visiting with a strong background in prevention services to the 0-3 age population; knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment.
Experience in working with culturally diverse communities/families and demonstrated ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
Ability to provide services (including support to program staff) when families are available, which may include some weeknight or weekend hours.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required; bilingual capabilities strongly encouraged.
Current drivers license, registration and auto insurance.
