FSRI is searching for a passionate, driven individual that wants to make a difference for the most overlooked communities. Many youth, adults, and families have experienced trauma and do not have the resources to address their own needs alone. FSRI is looking to build a multidisciplinary team, combining to encompass many needs that are facing underserved populations and implement new evidence-based practices to work with these families. We are hoping to hire a clinician to focus on the early childhood population of 2-8 years old children. Position Summary:
Works as part of a dedicated team providing trauma-informed clinical treatment to children ages 2-8. Provides trauma-informed diagnostic assessments and clinical counseling services for children, youth and their caregivers in the community and in the office. Utilize evidence-based practices such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Collaborates on cases with case managers and other service providers to ensure best client care. Participates in National Child Traumatic Stress Network trainings and collaborative groups. Provides emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed. Great team working environment with emphasis on supervision, case consultation, team support and training in evidence-based trauma models. Free licensing supervision.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in human services related field required. Licensed preferred.
License eligibility within 2 years of date of hire required for non-MSW degree; MSWs must obtain LCSW within 2 months of hire.
Desire to work with children ages 2-8.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
Bilingual skills preferred.
