Job Description

Position Summary: Provides overall administration and project management of the Trauma-Informed Policing (TIP) Center, a Substance and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) funded Category II Treatment and Services (TSA) Adaptation Center. The TIP Center serves as an ongoing resource for law enforcement across the nation interested in becoming trauma-informed, implementing FSRI’s Go Team co-responder best practice model, and partnering with community-based organizations to mitigate the effects of childhood trauma exposure and reduce the risk of revictimization. Also oversees the development of a related, virtual law enforcement training program.


Qualifications:

Master’s degree in human services related field preferred, though FSRI will consider variety of related bachelor level or higher educational degrees and/or clinical credentials.
Experience working with law enforcement and victims of crime required.
Strong project management and communication skills required, including collaborating with and coordinating the activities of a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
Must have the ability to travel regionally and nationally up to 50% time in service to the project in years 2 and 3, tapering off in year 4.
FSRI values staff with bilingual language capacity and familiarity with the local community they will be serving. FSRI includes pay incentives for bilingual staff.


Physical Requirements: Employees in this position must have the ability to:

Travel to and from community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
Lift up to 20 pounds
Work a flexible, hybrid in-office and at-home work schedule
