Position Summary: The Host Home Outreach Coordinator will recruit and support host homes for the Administration for Children and Families funded Emergency Youth Center (EYC) or “Basic Center Program”. The Basic Center Program serves runaway and homeless youth and assists in assessing and making plans in partnership with the youth to move towards housing stability and achievement of life goals. A host home supports youth in a home setting, for which hosts receive a stipend and ongoing support. This position also identifies, screens, and trains community members who volunteer to host youth. The Host Home Outreach Coordinator will collaborate with local partners in recruiting host homes.


Qualifications:

Bachelors level position or at least 2 years’ experience in the field of social service, housing, community organizing or other relevant work.
Project management and program development experience, as well as working collaboration with community providers preferred.
Ability to work a full-time, hybrid, flexible schedule to meet program needs.
Ability to work independently while being a team player.
FSRI values staff with bilingual language capacity and familiarity with the local community they will be serving.
FSRI includes pay incentives for bilingual staff.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation required.
