Position Summary: We are seeking a fundraising professional who is confident, self-assured, and proud of their individuality to be our Advancement Project Manager (APM). The APM will oversee individual giving across fundraising channels, including major gifts, planned giving, annual appeals, events, volunteer management, and peer-to-peer fundraising.
Building upon a strong base of donors, the APM will coordinate with the Development Director to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive strategies to grow and cultivate major gifts support, expand the annual giving and planned giving programs, and oversee the organization’s special events and grassroots fundraising programs. The APM will collaborate with other members of the Advancement team to achieve their goals.
The APM will have a heavy focus on fundraising for Lucy’s Hearth but will work with the Development Director and Advancement Team to support all fundraising goals and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Stellar writing skills; clear and persuasive verbal communication skills
Evidence of commitment to the work of the non-profit sector
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
5+ years of development experience, with a focus on major gifts, corporate sponsorship; solicitation, event planning, and/or individual donor solicitation
Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative in thinking and solutions approach
An established track record of increasing philanthropic revenue
Progressive experience in successful development programs and knowledge of "best practices" in development
Ability to set and achieve strategic objectives
Excellent computer and research skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Knowledge of Neon CRM a plus
Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
A criminal record check is required
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Bilingual skills are compensated!!
This position is hybrid – some remote work, some on-site (e.g. meetings with potential funders)
