Job Description

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community we serve in!



Position Summary: Oversees the development, overall implementation and day-to-day operation of the FSRI Housing Security and Economic Mobility service continuum, including the Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA), Housing Stabilization, Coming Home, and Link-to-Quality Jobs programs, along with ancillary programs and services. This position plays a leadership role in expanding services, outreach and vision for the service continuum.

Responsible for development of program policies and procedures regarding recruitment, screening, assessment, and ongoing support for individuals in need of housing, employment, and/or workforce training support based on best practice.
Supervises program staff and reviews performance regularly.
Serves as primary liaison to funders and government agencies.
Builds and sustains partnerships with other community-based, culturally attuned, and government agencies to best meet the needs of service recipients regarding advocacy, policy change, and streamlining services and referral networks.
Collaborates with the Finance Department to manage multiple federal, state, and private grant/contract budgets, and ensures documentation required for financial reporting/billing is in order.
Collaborates with the Quality Management Department to develop data collection methods, monitor progress in achieving program goals and objectives, and gauge recipient satisfaction with services.
Works with the Vice President to identify new funding sources to support existing programming and develops funding proposals to support sustainment and expansion.
Maintains positive relationships with funders; local, state and federal housing stability and workforce development organizations; and, community partners.
Collaborates with the Development Department to promote service continuum.
Represents FSRI at various community events, conferences, and presentations.
Represents FSRI on various stakeholder committees, policy boards, and community-partner collaboratives.


Qualifications:

FSRI will consider variety of related bachelor level or higher educational degrees and/or clinical credentials.
Experience in the housing field required.
Strong project management and program development skills required, as well as experience working collaboratively with community providers and other stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and also collaboratively as part of a team.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g., funding proposals, program materials, reports, position papers, policy documents, public presentations, etc.) preferred.
FSRI values staff with bilingual language capacity and familiarity with the local community they will be serving.
