Job Description

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community we serve in!


Position Summary: The Service Coordinator II consists of a dual role. Primarily, the SCII is the point person for families to ensure that they are receiving EI services and supports as outlined in the Rhode Island Early Intervention Certification Standards. Secondly, the SCII will provide individual support to families in accordance with their individual discipline/expertise.


Qualifications:

Degree, certification, and/or RI license that meets the requirements of a qualified professional consistent with the RI Early Intervention Personnel Standards.
Registered Nurse: RN license through the RI Department of Health
Educator: Bachelors Degree with an early childhood related teaching certification through RIDE OR a Masters degree in an early childhood related field OR a Rhode Island Early Intervention Certificate from EOHHS.
Social Worker: RI License (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LICSW)
Minimum of one year experience working with infants and toddlers in natural environments.
Current RI drivers license.
Current auto insurance.
Current Infant/Child/Adult CPR/First Aid Certification
Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.

Continuing Educations Requirements:

As needed to maintain individual certification or licensure and meet RI EI Certification Standards.
Completion of Introduction to Early Intervention course.
Maintain CPR/First Aid


Physical Requirements:

Physically able to perform duties including lifting up to 20lbs.
Required to provide own transportation.
