Essential Functions:

Responsible for providing trauma-informed, diagnostic screening, assessments and clinical counseling services for children, youth, and adults who have been impacted by the opioid epidemic or other substance use disorders as part of a wellness program at Providence and Pawtucket Housing Authorities. Work directly with identified community partners to respond to the needs of the community and support staff working in that community. Provide clinical consultation and support community partner in responding to the needs of those who are impacted. Contribute to the development of treatment plans that encourage wellness and recovery. Conducts training and consultation to community providers in an effort to disseminate information about trauma and substance abuse. Provides emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed.



Qualifications:

Master’s degree in human services related field required and LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psy.D, or license eligibility within 2 years of date of hire required.
Training in trauma-informed evidence-based treatment and LCDP preferred. (MSWs required to possess LCSW within 2 months of hire).
Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
Bilingual skills highly desired.
