Job Description

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community we serve in!


Position Summary: Responsible for providing resource services and care coordination youth in foster care and their families in the Kinship CARES Program. Intervenes in such a manner as to assist the family/client to access necessary services to improve the quality of life. Advocates for clients and family in navigating human service and similar departments, agencies, and services. Connects families to needed services including basic needs, mental health and clinical support, housing assistance, food assistance, etc. Coordinates care for families across multiple service systems. Lead Together Facing the Challenge group for families enrolled in the Kinship CARES services. Provide education and support to parents to develop trauma informed parenting skills. Completes administrative tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, manage/family, etc.) or equivalent combination of education & experience required.
Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance required.
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Bi-lingual (Spanish) required.
Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.


Physical Requirements: This position requires residential and community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:

Travel to and from clients’ residence, community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
