Job Description

Position Summary: Manages the development of all federal, state, local and private grant applications, letters of interest/inquiry, responses to requests for contract bids, related funder reporting, and donation requests. This includes allocating resources and overseeing high performance teams comprised of program leadership, quality management, finance, and community partner staff to create high quality/successful funding applications. Recruits, provides oversights for, trains and develops the grant writing team which includes staff and interns. Creates and delivers high level reports on grant metrics to senior leadership and/or the Board.


Qualifications:

Master’s degree in journalism, communications, human services or related discipline and /or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of grant writing experience required.
Prior experience creating successful federal grant proposals strongly preferred.
Excellent project management skills, as well as writing and editing skills required.
Strong supervision and oversight skills required.
Prior experience managing an internship program preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite necessary.
Familiarization with Monday.com preferred.
Familiarity with electronic grant application platforms preferred.
Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
