Job Description

Position Summary: Participate as a leader and active team-member to support the behavioral health of clients accessing services at FSRI. Responsible for supervising community service programs which may include DCYF contracted Dialectical Behavioral Therapy teams as well as other intensive community based teams. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care. Supervises clinicians, case managers, and peer specialists to implement assessment and follow-up. Performs crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation where needed, and manages evidenced based models of treatment. Participates in on-call emergency services. Conducts clinical training as necessary.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required
Required to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor Proficiency in professional writing
Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
Flexible schedule with some evenings
Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
Ability to work independently and part of a team
Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
