COVID-19 Funeral Assistance

Date Posted Friday, September 02, 2022
Please help FEMA spread the word that funds are available to help with COVID-19 funeral costs.

Our team is reaching out on FEMA’s behalf to share information about COVID-19 Funeral Assistance. FEMA is offering up to $9,000 to help pay expenses for each funeral attributed to COVID-19. The program has paid out more than $2.6 billion to date, but there are many families in your area who may be eligible for assistance and have not applied. We need your help, as a trusted local resource, to get the word out:

• Please visit fema.gov/funeral-assistance to download outreach resources including social media graphics, website banners, and printable materials, and distribute them through your own channels.
• Your organization may receive a free package via mail from FEMA that contains informational materials. Please post these anywhere they may be seen by your community members.
• Forward this email to any partner organizations or other related contacts.

Our team is available to answer any questions about COVID-19 Funeral Assistance or provide additional opportunities to engage with FEMA. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought difficult times for many people, and we want to help ease the financial stress caused by the virus.?With your help, we can build awareness, provide access to vital funding, and encourage more people to apply.?
